Every second and fourth Thursday of the month, join us for an hour lesson followed by a 30 minute practica. No partner is needed. Come experience this beautiful dance at the Big Island Social Dance Club. This venue is air conditioned and you’ll have to see the amazing art inside. Learn the foundational concepts of tango, build on that foundation, and have some fun! We cover the tango embrace, connection, walking, simple figures such as rock step, the cross, ocho cortado, and more complex steps such as sacadas, giros, boleos, barridas, and milonga and vals rhythms of tango.
